Rare "Maggie" Eriskay Pony Mare  1999

Maggie was resin cast in a limited edition of 30 to 50 pieces.  The exact number produced is not known. She stands 2 1/4" tall at the ear tips.  The pottery calls her "thumb size".  She is still in her original foam lined shipping box and has never been on display.  Model is clean but has a discolored spot on her rump.  My current asking price for this rare tiny mare is $325

Maggie was originally cast at the Pour Horse Pottery in ceramic. The model was sculpted by Kristina Lucas and a limited run of only 17 were produced in 1999. A photo of a rose grey Maggie is shown at the pottery website.  The ceramic version has the left fore leg raised.  Photos of painted resin Maggie models can be seen at the Equine Resin Directory. 

Miniature Horse sculpted by Kathleen Moody for Hartland Collectables in 1990. This is one of the early production resins from DaBar and will require some extensive prep work.  The finished resins sold by Hartland Collectables were named "Heritage Hopeful" and "Heritage Mist".  They were produced in bay and gray and were hand numbered inside the left hip. This striking stallion was sculpted by  Brigitte Eberl in a limited edition of only 50 models.  

He will require extensive prep work before he can be painted. Photos of a  finished model are posted at the Equine Resin Directory.
